Volker Fitzpatrick Building Division – Design & Construction Tender Submission

RGC were appointed by Volker Fitzpatrick to provide commercial support to ensure that a competive tender was submitted for this project on or before the return date. Our scope of services comprised: provide bills of quantities, issue Invitation to Tender Works Packages, analysis of all quotations received (including extensive infrastructure & S278 works), populating the multiple unit and summary Tender Sum Analysis, assistance in producing the Final Tender Clarifications Document and attendance at mid-tender interviews.

This was a challenging project in that the scope of works included the design and construction of S278 works, on-site earthworks, infrastructure and drainage, together with 10no single storey warehouse/production units complete with office accommodation, external site works including hardstandings with lorry parking, trailers and car parking spaces as detailed on the Architect’s and Engineers drawings together with associated landscaping, and drainage. The total gross internal floor area will be as scheduled within the tender documents but within the region of 1.Million sq. ft.
